After A Month Away
Hi, it's been over a month. I have basically got nothing done in the game itself in that time.
I have decided that I do want to implement at least a bit of a story or lore into the game. I'm not the greatest storyteller (see Swole Doge and Loaf), but I think in a game like this it would be interesting to add a little depth to the world. Over the past month I have basically been pondering where the lore should go and trying to set a stage for the game.
That time is coming to a close now as I have a better idea of those things.
Development on the game itself is going to start up again soon, and I'll be writing it at the same time. On top of that, I'm also composing the music (the current version uses a placeholder OST I don't intend to keep) and possibly redesigning the art.
This does however constitute a delay.
While 'soon' was the last date I gave, I'm I would say that in the context of a game release, 'soon' is within 4 months.
This game is not coming out in the next 4 months. If I were to give myself a good windows I'd likely be around 9 to 10 months away, but you never know.
